Family photos

This is me and my precious baby. Mandy was stolen a few days after this picture was taken last year. I miss her so much.

Sorry to bring this up, but your first picture was such a powerful statement. Are you saying she was kidnapped? I'm very sorry, whatever the circumstance.

  5. Yes, my little Mandy was puppynapped. Sad, sad story. It was done right before my eyes.

She was this tiny, obedient little shitsu that always jumped into my lap whenever I sat at the computer. She also slept at my feet at night.

She would tug at my sock if she wanted to go outside to do her thing and I would always open the door and wait for her.

Several times I'd sit on the porch and since we have A LOT of undesireable foot traffic (I live in a beautiful historical area but just two blocks away is our skid row area) people would always comment on how cute she was.

That day, my sister called and I went in to get the phone. I hung up about five minutes later and I ran out and Mandy was gone. In the distance I could see some kids running and I yelled at them. When they turned, they had my dog and by the time I ran inside, grabbed my cell phone and car keys, they were long gone. I did not get a good description. I filed a police report but that didn't help. And not even my hefty, no questions asked, reward brought her back.

    I cried for months.
I still miss her and still look for her everywhere.

That's awful! Although I should not be, I'm still shocked at the depths people sink to. Sorry again, September.
