I'm back!

I will never complain about the heat again! I rarely do but after experiencing the high humidy of the East Coast - I think I can handle the triple digit weather here.

What an amazing week I had -- going to New York, Philadelphia, Fairfax, VA, Washington D.C. and Baltimore.

I returned Thursday but worked Friday and today and had not had a chance to come in and write. I think I'm still living on East Coast time - which is fine - I love going to bed early and waking up so refreshed.

I'm off to see Superman at the theater and relax a bit for the afternoon/evening - but I promise to try to get in some writing (and pictures) about the trip. Hopefully I can start this weekend.

In the meantime, I will copy my stories from the week on here but I will return to add personal posts with pictures.

It's good to be home!

By the way, can anyone tell me how I can arrange these entries in a certain order. I placed all of the band stories in order from Day 1 through last day -- but they aren't appearing in that order. They seem to be jumbled up.

  2. Welcome back!

In regards to your entry delimma, I think all you have to do is change the time of the post. Like for Day 3 to fall into place between Day 1 & 2 and 4 & 5, go to edit posts and edit the time for the Day 3 entry. Change it to like 3:04 p.m. and it should move to where you want it.

    I hope that helps!

  3. Thank you Jeff and Andrea. It sure is nice to be back. I am still trying to catch up on everything. That's the thing about trips, you work like crazy getting ready and then come back to a lot of more work.
Andrea, I tried that but now it tells me that my html can not be accepted. I'll have to find some time to work on it once I return again.

I'm leaving for Sacramento in a few minutes for a couple of days. (picking up Jenna at airport -- she visited family in Oregon while I was on my NY trip.)

I hope Philadelphia treated you well! I see you were at the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Did you wave to me? I'm over at Liberty One (the glass skyscraper with the big spire). :D

  5. Welcome back.

If you get that html error, check the box that says ignore or something like that and try again.

  7. :) And now I just got in from Sacramento and had two writing assignments waiting for me - I guess that's good.

Jason: I saw that glass skyscraper! (at least, I think it is the one you are mentioning) Had I known, I would have yelled out your name real loud and waved. (ok, maybe not a good idea)

Philadelphia was great but so different from 1976 when I was there as a member of the band. No security detectors back then - I could walk up and touch the bell.

Matt: thanks. But will that cause the page from loading properly for other people? I'll try it anyway.

Kelly: Thanks. :) I'll consider myself tagged and will come in later to write.
