We are not alone

Nov. 1 -- A refreshing rain greeted me when I awoke. Everything was so beautiful and I sat on the porch at 6 a.m. for more than two hours loving every second of it -- listening to the rain, birds, and other early morning sounds.
That was yesterday.
Nov. 2 -- Today I awoke early again (I always do) and everything was still fresh and beautiful. But there was definitely something new in the sky --Contrails.
Now, these are not the typical contrails that I remember as a child. I used to lay on the grass and make up stories about where people were going and what they would do when they got there. Those "trails" dissipated after a few minutes and I had to hurry and finish my not-so-short stories.
These contrails were way too long -- I could actually see it come up behind my home, across the top, and flying beyond anyplace I could trace. Imagine a snow globe....and then imagine an imaginary line inside along the dome - a white line all the way around. Get the picture?

This is what I saw today. BUT...oddly, the line never dissipated. It moved - eastward in the same unbroken line. If there were wind, it would break up or move in sections -- not as one whole entire long line.

Which brings us to the question -- what exactly is it?
I don't know. But I do know what it is not - it is not a normal jet contrail.

I stayed outside and studied the trails -- there were at least three or four being created and I ran to get my camera.

Unfortunately, when I uploaded them, I noticed black marks over all of my photos. I've been taking pics for weeks, and never had these markings.

I'm not ridiculous, I'm not saying that the black marks are unexplicable paranormal creatures coming out of the contrails. I obviously suddenly, out of the blue, got a dirty lens. (But I must say that I don't understand how or when. I used the camera yesterday for a story shoot and the photos were all fine. I put the camera away after and had not used it since.)

Anyway, as I studied the contrails, I noticed something else - something almost angelic about the skies. For every contrail I saw, there were "angelic" cloud creations -- not next to them, but way opposite the sky. In other words, if there is a contrail to my left, I would look right, and way in the distance I could make out an "angel" in the clouds. This happened again and again.

Is this good versus evil? No - that is not what I am saying. I never said the contrails were bad.
Right now, I don't know what any of it means -- but it is interesting to watch.

A friend of mine said that the contrails always appear after a nice refreshing rain.
Hmmm...... Douglas has a point. I'm starting to notice that myself.
Go out and look for them -- and report back. What do you all think?
(there are several more photos on the previous post)
